HAE Training and Baseline Plus have partnered together to deliver a range of Behavioural Detection (BD) consultancy and training services for the aviation industry as well as other highly populated environments, including sporting stadiums, music events and official buildings.
International agencies such ICAO, IATA and ACI are all actively engaging the security function of Behavioural Detection (BD) into the global aviation industry, as well as other member states adopting BD measures to mitigate both the criminal and terrorist activities within their operational environments. Some aviation operators have seen the advantages of BD, particular in areas such as mitigating criminal activity, being an active deterrent against hostile or terrorist reconnaissance, supporting local/airport law enforcement as well as being a cost effective "link" in the chain of armour with other security measures.
Along with international support for Behavioural Detection (BD), and the recent enquiry following the "Manchester Arena bombing" in 2016 which highlighted failures by the security industry, new UK legislation has been approved under “Martyn’s law”. This means that UK security events must have additional levels of risk management, including higher level of security training including a monitoring, questioning and reporting system.
We have key experience in creating bespoke Behavioural Detection (BD) programmes to meet specific requirements of aviation legislation within your country or region. We are able to apply different elements of quality assurance and recurrent training to support your organisation ensuring continued compliance and oversight of your BD programme.
Along with designing key Behavioural Detection (BD) documentation and quality assurance, we can deliver four levels of BD training to your organisation. The training levels are based on your operational requirements and have been created and delivered to many entities throughout the world.
Level 01 - Awareness of BD.
Level 02 - Understanding of BD.
Level 03 - BD Operator/Officer.
Level 04 - BD Advanced.
